Creating a Widget

Creating a Widget

There are two ways to create a widget:

Creating a widget from scratch

To create a widget from scratch, you can use the following steps:

Navigating to the widget creation page

Navigate to the Custom AI-Powered Widget (opens in a new tab) page.

Selecting a widget type

Select a widget type you would like to create. We currently support the following widget types:

  • Text Completion: Text widgets can be used to generate text. e.g. blog posts, outlines, code, emails, etc.
  • Chat Completion: Chat widgets can be used to generate chat messages. e.g. chatbots, assistant, etc.
  • Image Generation: Image widgets can be used to generate images. e.g. memes, logos, etc.

Entering widget details

Once you click next, enter a name for your widget. This name will be used to identify your widget. You also need to choose whether to publish in public or private mode. If you choose public, your widget will be visible to everyone. If you choose private, your widget will only be visible to you.

Selecting an audience payment type

You can then select an Audience Payment Type. You can choose between:

  • Free: Widget usage is free for your audience. Your available completions will get deducted by 1 for each generation of your widget.
  • Pay-per-generation: Your audience will be charged for each generation of your widget. You will not be charged for the generation of your widget. Direct payments will be enabled.

Styling your widget

Once you click next, you will be taken to the widget element page. Here, you can add elements to your widget. These elements are input elements that your audience will use to generate your widget. For example, if you are creating a text-completion widget, and making a blog post generator, you can add an input element for the topic of the blog post. You can also add other elements like select, number, etc. More information about widget elements can be found here.

Configuring your widget

Once you click next, you will be taken to the widget provider page. Here, you can configure your widget's behavior. More information about widget settings can be found here.

Creating your widget

After configuring your widget, you can now click "Create Widget" to create your widget.

Creating a widget from an example

We have a few different widgets to choose from. Each one has its own use case and benefits. We recommend you try out each one and see which one fits your projects or businesses.

There's one thing to consider when choosing a widget:

  • What is the use case? - Each widget has its own use case. For example, we have an embedabble widget that can generate blog posts, while we have other widgets for other use cases such as generating code, emails, outlines and more.

To actually choose a widget, you can use the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the dashboard (opens in a new tab) page and select a widget from example widgets.

  2. After selecting a widget, a modal will appear.

Direct payments will be enabled.
ℹ️

You must setup a Stripe express account to earn money from your audience. To setup your Stripe account, navigate to https://interaxai.com/account/payments (opens in a new tab) and click "Setup Direct Payments" . If you do not connect your Stripe account, direct payments will still be enabled. However, the payment will be sent to us for the generation of your widget.

  1. Now that you own the widget, you should be able to see it under the "My Widgets" section.

Providers

Our widgets are powered by different providers. Each provider has its own benefits and drawbacks. We recommend you try out each one and see which one fits your projects or businesses.

Currently, we support the following provider(s):
